Billed on a rolling average
We track usage daily for every running instance and average it across the billing cycle, instead of billing you for your worst spike.
Billable = max(0, monthly average − plan default)
Worked example
Starter includes 1 GB RAM. You sit at 0.9–1.0 GB on weekdays with one weekend spike
to 3 GB. Monthly average lands at 1.1 GB, so you’re billed on 0.1 GB, thirty
cents. Not on the 3 GB spike.
Questions people actually ask
Do spikes count against me?
Barely. They’re averaged with your normal usage, so a brief burst hardly moves the number. Consistent overages do show up, and we’d rather talk about a plan change than surprise you.
When is billing calculated?
At the end of your monthly cycle, from the average of every day in the cycle.
What if I always exceed my defaults?
We adjust your plan or set a fixed rate. Predictable long-term relationships suit us better than surprise invoices too.
Does design work get billed separately?
Design and build are quoted per project; hosting is the monthly line above. What doesn’t happen is two vendors billing you to argue with each other.
What does it cost to leave?
Nothing. You own your domain, your code and your content. We’ll help you hand it over cleanly.
