Build · Process

Simple process. Clear ownership. No mystery work.

We don’t start by selling you a plan. We start by understanding what you have, what you need, and what you’re willing to maintain.

Discovery (30–60 minutes)

We learn:

  • what you’re building and who uses it
  • what’s breaking today, and what’s quietly risky
  • performance goals, budget and timelines
  • your current stack: domain and DNS, app, data, deployments, monitoring

Output
A short written summary and a recommended path forward. Yours to keep whether or not you hire us.

Environment design

We define a known-good baseline:

  • architecture and dependencies
  • deployment flow
  • monitoring plan
  • security expectations
  • backup and restore expectations

Output
A named, documented environment, so "what changed?" always has an answer.

Build & migration

Design and development happen here, alongside the move itself if you’re coming from somewhere else. Nothing is pointed at production until it has been verified against the baseline from the previous step.

Output
A live environment that matches its own documentation, and a rollback path if it doesn’t.

Run

Monitoring, updates, performance tuning and response. Periodic review so the documentation stays true rather than becoming folklore.

Output
An environment that stays boring, and a person who answers when it doesn’t.

What we need from you

  • Access to what exists, or the authority to get it
  • A decision-maker who can answer questions in days, not weeks
  • Honesty about what’s actually running, including the embarrassing parts

What you can expect from us

  • Written summaries after every stage
  • Explicit boundaries: what we manage, what you manage
  • Reversible changes and a stated recovery plan
  • A reply within one to two business days, always

And then it keeps going

When the site ships, it doesn’t get handed off to someone else. The people who built it are the same people keeping it running, which is why step four has no end date.

Ownership, revisions, and payment-plan terms for a Build engagement are set out in our Creative Services Terms.
